As you've noticed from my submission, I got in. It's been 5 weeks now and I feel great. I feel like I'm right where I'm supposed to be - and that's something I havent felt before.
We get to study under the guidance of real comics artists, illustrators and other experts of the trade and it's awesome. I think I've improved a little here and there. I sure give my comics more thought than what I used to.
We have approx. 6 hours of classes 5 days a week. Then we have free time, which I usually use to finish previous assignments or drawing some new theme. Three weeks ago it was marihuana (submitting it soon), two weeks ago it was Death and thuis week's them was utopia.
However our instructor this week has given us so much homework, that I haven't drawn a new theme comic yet. I have the script, though, but it has to wait. Right now I'm doing an Hourly Comic (www.hourlycomic.com): Every waking hour we have to draw at least one comic of what've done during the past hour for one day. Demanding but strangely exciting.
So, the stuff I put on my account will be more or less made in Orivesi, either on classes or in my free time.
NEWSFLASH! Here's my comics blog: [link] (Finnish & English)
